This gown feels like a piece of art. It is a strapless trumpet silk shantung gown with a wrapped sweetheart neckline and fan detail in the back that gives the illusion of flowing origami. I have more of a boyish figure, and I picked this dress bc of its classic look as well as the fact that its features (ruching at the bust and fan detail in the back) really helps build in subtle curves around the bust and back.
This is a couture gown in near-pristine condition, which I purchased at a sample sale from a well-known Georgetown bridal atelier in Washington, DC (I'd be happy to provide the original receipt dated 1/29/2014. The receipt will indicate that I paid $2375.44 for it.) It has NEVER been worn outside of a retail setting.
If you are located in the DC/MD/VA area, I'd be happy to have you come see and try on the dress in person before purchasing. Please feel free to request more photos, ask questions, etc. I want you to be happy with your gown!
