This is a Watters Brides gown (Style No. 4064B/ Style Name: "Delicias"). This gown was featured on "Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta" (Bridals by Lori). I saw it on the show, fell in love, and bought it. I intended to use it for my future wedding, but sadly it no longer fits me. This gown is a new SAMPLE gown WITH tags. It is a size 10. It is an ivory silk satin organza gown with a strapless sweetheart neckline. The bodice is embellished with gorgeous crystal ribbon flowers. It features a grosgrain and velveteen ribbon flat bow belt at natural waistline and an "A"-line skirt with sweep train. This dress is very light and billowy and perfect for a spring or summer wedding (something country and rustic would look divine!). This gown has NOT yet been worn in a wedding ceremony, but has been previously tried on as it was a SAMPLE** gown. It has not been dry-cleaned, but it will look like mint condition once it is. It is basically a brand new gown as the only thing holding it back from being called "brand new" is the fact that it was a store sample on sale when I purchased it. The retail price (price tag) is $1595.00; I am only asking $450 as I need to downsize my closet, so hopefully someone can make a good home for this gorgeous dress. I am open to shipping the item under certain terms.
Further Details Color: ivory Designer: Watters Brides Embellishment: beading Fabric: organza Hemline: floor-length Neckline: strapless, sweetheart Collection: Spring 2009 Dress Silhouette: "A"-line Sleeve length: strapless Train: sweep Waist: natural Other: From seam (where the skirt and the bodice meet) to the end of the skirt it measure 43 inches. If you are 5'7" and wear 3-4" heels you probably will NOT need to hem it shorter. The waist measurement (where the ribbon is) measures 30". The widest part of the bust on the dress measures approximately 37". The hips (about 7 inches below the ribbon) measure approximately 42".
**The folds in the dress will come out after dry cleaning and the bow will lay flat. Because the dress was a sample it does NEED to be dry cleaned before it is worn. . .so please keep that in mind. I didn't have it done because I knew it would need to be cleaned again if I had to ship it in the mail.
